By the end of the day, everyone was enthusiastic about both the content and André’s teaching style. He started with the basics—a solid foundation of theory, always linked to practical applications—clearly showing why Signal Integrity has become so important in our field.
All relevant aspects were covered: all types of transmission lines, PCB material properties, bandwidth, rise times, and more. Most importantly, how to apply this knowledge practically in a PCB layout. One thing that really stuck with us was the Shive generator—go look it up on YouTube!
With over 250 slides in a single day, it was a lot, but definitely manageable. We learned a lot and are already looking forward to a similar day, this time focusing on PI – Power Integrity.
