Hans Klos to Speak on AI Automation in Electronic Design
We are pleased to announce that Hans Klos, CEO of Sintecs, will be a featured speaker at the Siemens Digital Industrie Software User2User Europe Conference in Munich on May 13th, 2025. His 30-minute session, titled “How AI and ML Can Help in Electronic Design to Improve Quality, Efficiency, and Innovation,” will explore the rapidly growing influence of artificial intelligence and machine learning in modern hardware development and AI automation possibilities in general. In his presentation, Hans will cover:
- The biggest hurdles in today’s engineering process, from BOM management to SI/PI risks
- Automation opportunities with AI, including schematic generation and AI-based schematic analysis, auto-routing, and intelligent DRC
- Current state and limitations of AI-driven tools in electronics
- Key challenges, such as the lack of quality training data and industry conservatism
The session will also touch on emerging applications like AI-based datasheet parsing, sourcing forecasts, and simulation-assisted design correction.
